My trusted financial services client based in the CBD has a fantastic full time opportunity for an experienced Credit Administration Officer. Their focus is on delivering exceptional service to their clients and maintaining strong relationships with investors. Ideally you are a self motivated, detail-oriented and proactive Credit Administration Officer looking to join a dynamic team and play a key role in managing their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Banking & Transactions:

  • Overseeing and monitoring all daily banking transactions.
  • Processing daily banking transactions to clients.
  • Conducting fortnightly and monthly bank account reconciliations.
  • Managing staff business credit card reconciliations.

Invoice & Client Management:
  • Reviewing and authorising client assignment of invoices.
  • Weekly review of aged debtors and following up on overdue invoices.
  • Reviewing and managing risks of invoice fraud and escalating concerns to management.
  • Managing client loan accounts, payments, and debtor finance facility limits.
Accounting & Reporting:
  • Inputting all business transactions into MYOB.
  • Preparing monthly PAY payments, quarterly BAS activity reporting, and lodgement.
  • Handling creditor payments and maintaining leave reports and balances for staff.
  • Preparing monthly and annual reports for management and the Board.
  • Assisting with EOFY accounts preparation for the accountant.

Payroll & Compliance:
  • Weekly Payroll: Paying the Super and reporting on the portal.
  • Ensuring compliance with annual AllR reporting and investment holding reports.

Investor Relations:
  • Maintaining investor records, monthly payments, and EOFY statements of interest.
  • Communicating with investors regarding maturities, reinvestments, or withdrawals.

Team Leadership & Development:
  • Delegating work to clerks and reviewing their completed tasks for accuracy.
  • Training and developing staff and clients as required.
Communication:
  • Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, creditors, and investors.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance or accounting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MYOB and accounts processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong, clear communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and investors.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and managing risks, particularly in invoice fraud.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
